Sibshops

August 28. 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Boys & Girls Club,  201 Hamilton Street , Syracuse , NY .

Sibshops celebrate the many contributions made by brothers and sisters
of children with developmental disabilities or special needs.

Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with developmental disabilities or special needs is for some a good thing, others a not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in-between.

At a Sibshop, participants will meet other brothers and sisters of children with special needs; learn more about disabilities and services that people with disabilities receive; have an opportunity to share their experiences with others who really know what it is like to have a sibling with a disability; make new friends and have fun!

This Sibshop is a collaboration of Arc of Onondaga and Eastern Hills Bible Church .

Space is limited. Registration is required.

For more information or to register, please contact Felicia McKenzie, Arc of Onondaga at 315-473-5027 or by email at fmckenzie@arcon.org or Nancy Hinds, Eastern Hills Bible Church , at 315-682-5008 ext. 410.
